Senior Data Engineer (Databricks, DBT, ADF)

We are looking for Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports the customer’s data science initiatives. This includes building data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices, especially DBT, as well as experience with a variety of data technologies.
Your Role
- Design, develop, and maintain the customers’ data infrastructure
- Build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of sources
- Build data warehouses and data lakes to store and manage data
- Develop and deploy data processing and analytics tools
- Work with data scientists to develop and deploy data-driven solutions
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data technologies.
What you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the Data Engineer role.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Experience with a variety of data technologies, especially DBT, Databricks, ADF (Azure Data Factory), AWS Glue, Snowflake, etc.
- Proficient in SQL
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive is a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools (Python packages, or tools such as Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (PLUS).
