AI ENGINEER (Middle – Senior Level)

Design, build, and operate AI features with a focus on RAG and agentic workflows. You’ll own LLM integration, retrieval, evaluation, and cost/latency/quality optimization from prototype to production.
Your Role
- Architect and implement RAG/agent pipelines: ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, grounding, and guardrails.
- Build inference services and tool/function-calling workflows; ship APIs and SDKs for product teams.
- Optimize serving (throughput/latency/cost) using batching, caching, quantization; explore vLLM/Triton/TGI.
- Establish LLMOps: offline/online evals (answer correctness, hallucination rate), A/B tests, prompt/version control, observability.
- Productionize on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, secrets, and data governance.
- Integrate vector DBs (pgvector/Weaviate/Pinecone/Milvus) and document stores; implement safety/PII redaction.
- Collaborate with BE/FE and Security on APIs, SLAs, and compliance.
What you bring?
Must-have:
- 2+ years software engineering (Python primary), production experience.
- Hands-on with LangChain/LangGraph/CrewAI/AutoGen (any two+), embeddings, vector DBs, prompt/chain design.
- Experience deploying AI services to cloud; CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
- Data privacy & security mindset; testing culture (unit/integration).
Nice to have:
- Experience with vLLM/Triton/TGI; rerankers; structured output (JSON schema), function calling, streaming.
- Observability tools (Langfuse, Phoenix, OpenTelemetry) and eval frameworks (promptfoo/RAGAS).
- Knowledge of GPU scheduling/costing and model fine-tuning/LoRA.
