Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure, Terraform)

As a Cloud Engineer specializing in Azure and Terraform, your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and deploy robust and scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure using Terraform. You will play a pivotal role in automating cloud deployments and ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of our cloud environments.
Your Role
- Designing and implementing cloud solutions on Azure using Terraform.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill infrastructure requirements.
- Automating deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure using Terraform and other DevOps tools.
- Monitoring cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Continuously updating and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) configurations.
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
What you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing, building, and deploying infrastructure on Azure.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services in Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure Build Pipelines, GitHub Actions…).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker/containerd and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring tools and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly desirable.
- HashiCorp certifications (e.g., Terraform Associate 003) are highly desirable.
